| This is a very popular camlellia; it can be found all over the place. Large, shocking pink peony-shaped flowers which bloom from early to late spring. Loose, upright growth, also suited to training, even against a north wall! My impression is that this camellia is less hardy than the -18oC which it is supposed to tolerate. Here in the nursery the plant gave up at -14oC ... bud hardiness is rather poor. | Max 3mClumping |
